After nearly two decades of successful conferences in Japan, China, and Europe, The Society for the Advancement of Material and Processing Engineering (SAMPE) announces a new event, SAMPE Asia, to be held in Bangkok, Thailand, 11-13 February 2008. This event will provide a forum for the advanced materials community by bringing technical sessions, tutorials, and exhibits to this rapidly expanding region.

To compliment the technical program, SAMPE Asia will also feature a combination of tabletop and exhibit booths.

SAMPE Asia will be chaired by Dr. Toshio Tanimoto, Shonan Institute of Technology, Japan; Dr. Klaus Drechsler, University of Stuttgart, Germany; and Mr. John Green, GSG Inc., USA. Steve Rodgers, EDO, USA, is a member of the organizing committee.
